The music department aims to provide all pupils with opportunities to develop their musical skills both in the classroom and through the specialist instrumental service.  Through the curriculum, pupils develop performing, composing and listening skills by participating in a wide range of activities from learning instruments and performing both indivdiually and in groups to composing their own music.  The instrumental specialists provide lessons for pupils on specific instruments, prepare pupils for exams and also run a variety of ensembles.  See the ‘What’s On in Performing Arts’ page for more information.
